Can Family Urgent Care treat my illness or injury or should I go to the Emergency Room?
We can treat most non life-threatening illnesses or injuries. For a comprehensive list of medical conditions that our urgent care centers can treat, please view our services page. If you are experiencing an emergency or a life-threatening illness, please call 911 or visit your local emergency room.
Who will treat me when I visit Family Urgent Care?
Based on your particular medical needs, you may be seen by a physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse, doctor of osteopathy or an MD. Our physicians are trained in family medicine and/or emergency medicine.
How long is the average wait time for Family Urgent Care?
Our goal at Family Urgent Care is to get patients in and treated within an hour. We understand that your time is valuable, so we offer services to enable you to minimize your wait time at our medical office.
What should I bring when I visit Family Urgent Care?
Please bring a list of medications, medical history and have your insurance information handy, if you have it.
What types of Health Insurance does Family Urgent Care accept?
We accept most major insurance plans at our urgent care. If you have questions about coverage, your copay or deductible, please call your insurance provider. Their phone number will be on your insurance card.
If you have a high deductible plan, you may receive a bill from Family Urgent Care after your visit (even if you paid a copay at the time of your visit) if your deductible has not been met. If you have questions or concerns about your deductible, please contact your insurance provider.
While we accept most insurance plans, Family Urgent Care patients are welcome to pay for services in full by cash or credit card. Be sure to ask about our VIP Program!
What conditions does Family Urgent Care treat?
Our urgent care offers treatment for common illnesses such as cold and flu, in addition to more in-depth conditions such as sprains and broken bones (there is an X-ray on-site). Family Urgent Care also offers school, sports, camp and pre-employment physical exams, flu shots and some vaccines.
